Visitation, Money, Mail, and Calls

Visits are allowed during visiting hours 7 days a week during the following times:

Monday – Sunday 6:00 pm 7:00 pm
7:45 pm 8:45pm

The hours from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, all inmates, including female and male restricted housing unit inmates will have visiting hours. Each inmate is allowed 2 visits per week. Visits run Monday – Sunday. Two visitors are allowed at each visit. Children four years of age or younger will not be counted as a visitor.

Rensselaer County is located on the eastern border of the State of New York. At the 2010 census, the population was 159,429, and the county seat is Troy. The county was named in honor of the family of Killeen van Rensselaer, the original Dutch owner of the land the county. The county was founded in 1791.
