All visits to the St. Lawrence Correctional Facility are in agreement with the inmate. Visits within twenty-four hours of admission, inmates are required to submit to a tuberculosis test before any visits, contact, or non-contact. Visitors who are late for a scheduled visit will be turned away. Show a government-issued ID for visits.

St. Lawrence County is located in the northern part of New York State. As of the 2010 census the population was 111,944. The county seat is Canton, and the county is named for the Saint Lawrence River which was named for the Christian Saint Lawrence of Rome. St. Lawrence County is New York’s largest county by area. The county was founded in 1802, and the largest city is Ogdensburg. The St. Lawrence River forms the boundary between St. Lawrence County and Ontario Canada.
