Visitation, Money, Mail and Calls

Inmates are entitled to one booth or on-contact visit the first 24 hours of incarceration. The visit is limited to 20 minutes.
After the first 24 hours, inmates are permitted two, one hour visits per week. Contact visits are conducted on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dutchess County is located on the south east border of NY. It sits on the Atlantic Ocean. The population of Dutchess County in 2010 was 297,488 and the county seat is Poughkeepsie. The county was created in 1683 and founded in 1713 and is one of New York’s first twelve counties. The count is named for Mary of Modena, Duchess of York. The county is located in the Mid-Hudson Region of the Hudson Valley north of New York City.
